What is pop-up book?

The pop-up book is a book (usually for children) that contains one or more pages such that a three-dimensional structure rises up when a page is opened, which is also known as movable book. We collectively refer to all books that are beyond traditional papers as toy books. Pop-up books are mainly for children, so they are also called children's pop-up books.

The biggest difference between toy books and other paper toys is the essence and characteristics of the book. As far as the history origin of toy books is concerned, toy books should be a special classification in children's literature publications, more precisely an extension or classification of "funny" or "creative upgrades" in picture books.

It's a child's nature to love to play, and games are the focus of children's life. The most common tools for games are toys. Learning is the necessary process for children to grow up, and the most typical form of learning is book. The toy book has both the content and the form of a book. It also has the fun and function of the toy. The toy book jumps out of the limits of the flat book and creates a three-dimensional space, where children can "move" their hands to "play", discover and explore, appreciate the wonderful visual images. It has scripts, screens and stages, so children can direct and perform its own scientific knowledge, fairy tales, literary classics.
